When you submit your documents to go live on PayChangu, your account will have a verification status. This shows where you are in the approval process.
The statuses are:
Not Started
Under Review
Approved
Declined
You haven’t submitted your KYC documents yet.
Your account remains in test mode.
Action: Click Start Verification in your dashboard and provide the required documents.
Your documents have been submitted and are being reviewed by the PayChangu team.
Your account is still in test mode.
Action: Wait for the review to complete which particularly takes less than 24hrs. You may be contacted if more information is needed.
Your verification has been successfully completed.
Your account can now accept live payments and withdrawals.
Action: Switch to live mode to start using all PayChangu features with real funds.
Your documents were not approved.
Your account remains in test mode and cannot receive live payments.
Action: Check emails for the reason for decline, or contact support at hie@paychangu.com to confirm your verification status.
