A payment link is a simple way to collect payments by sharing a URL with your customers. Instead of integrating a checkout into your website, you can send a link via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or social media and get paid instantly.
With PayChangu, payment links are quick to create and work across all supported payment methods.
Log in to your PayChangu dashboard
Navigate to Payment Links and select All Payment Links
Click the “+” button or Create Payment Link
Enter the required details:
Payment (product or service) name
Amount to be paid. You can either:
Enter a fixed amount your customer must pay, or
Leave it blank to allow the customer to enter a variable amount
Currency
Payment details
You can toggle on "enable SMS notifications" to keep you and updated after each and every payment is made
Click Create Payment
Your payment link will be created instantly and ready to share.
Once your link is created, you can share it in multiple ways:
Copy and send via WhatsApp or SMS
Share through email
Embed in social media bios or posts
Add to your website or landing page
Anyone who opens the link will be directed to a secure checkout page to complete the payment.
Customers open the link and complete payment using their preferred method
Payments are processed instantly
You can track the transaction in your dashboard under Transactions
Instant bank transfer bank details expire after 1 Hour after being clicked
You can create multiple links for different products or customers
Links can be reused or restricted depending on your setup
