PayChangu allows you to control which payment methods your customers can use at checkout. This helps you tailor your payment experience based on your business needs, target audience, and preferred settlement methods.
Enabling or disabling payment methods allows you to:
Offer only the options that work best for your business
Simplify the checkout experience for your customers
Control how you receive and manage payments
Log in to your PayChangu dashboard
Go to Settings

Click on Settlements
Under Payment Methods You will see a list of available options (e.g., Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, Cards)
Toggle on to enable or off to disable a payment method
Save your changes

Depending on your account setup, you can enable:
Mobile Money (Airtel Money, TNM Mpamba)
Bank Transfer (Instant bank payments)
Card Payments (Visa, Mastercard)
Mobile Money (Direct API) – Collect mobile money payments via Direct Charge integration.
Changes apply to all future transactions
Disabled methods will not appear on your checkout page
You can update your preferences at any time
Offering multiple payment options can improve payment success rate
