This type of account is suitable if you are just starting out or operating informally.
This is for businesses that are formally registered
Requirements:
Business name
Email address
Valid identification documents for director/shareholder such as National ID (front and back) or Passport
Certificate of incorporation or business registration certificate
Articles and Memorandum of Association (for limited companies)
Shareholding structure and contact details
Tax identification (if applicable)
This account type is recommended for registered companies, organizations, NGOS as well as growing businesses.
Once you sign up, your account will be placed in test mode. To start accepting real payments, you need to:
Log in to your dashboard
Click Start Verification
Submit the required documents
Your account will be reviewed and approved within 24 hrs before going live.
Account review and approval typically occurs within 24 hours prior to going live; however, this timeframe may exceed 24 hours depending on the business and the scope of required due diligence.
