Mobile money is the most widely used payment method in Malawi and is ideal for local transactions.

Card payments can be accepted from both local and international customers, making it possible to expand your reach beyond Malawi.
Provides a temporary account with unique bank details specifically for that transaction
Must transfer exact amount entered in the payment link
Less or more than the amount → payment error

International customers can only pay using card payments. The process is as follows:
The customer pays using their card.
Funds are credited in your PayChangu collection wallet.
Funds are settled into your wallet after T+1.
Mobile Money is best suited for local customers.
Card Payments are used for international transactions.
All payment methods are processed through a single checkout interface.
Settlements follow the standard T+1 cycle and are processed at midnight.
