PayChangu makes it easy to check in attendees at your event by scanning or redeeming their tickets. This ensures a smooth entry process, prevents fraud, and helps you track attendance in real-time.
You can use a smartphone or tablet.
Make sure the device has camera access enabled for scanning QR codes.
Log in to your PayChangu dashboard.
Attendees will present their digital ticket via email.
Open the scanner on your device.
Align the QR code with the camera until it is recognized.
The ticket will be automatically verified and marked as redeemed.
If the QR code is unavailable, you can manually search for the ticket using:
Ticket number
Attendee name
Email address
Once found, you can redeem the ticket manually by selecting Check In, ensuring entry for legitimate attendees.

The dashboard will update in real-time, showing which tickets have been redeemed.
You can track total attendees, ticket types, and remaining tickets at the event.
For larger events, you can have multiple staff members scanning tickets simultaneously. Assign team members the appropriate permissions in your PayChangu dashboard so they can access the check-in tool without sharing your personal login.
Test the scanner before the event to ensure smooth operation.
Keep backup devices or printed attendee lists for emergencies.
Only redeem tickets once to prevent duplicate entries.
